Friday Night Highlights
- I woke up feeling like death this morning. So I proceed to do three things that don't exactly promote my getting better. I plant myself at my desk and resolve not to get up until my research paper was done. I had nothing to eat for breakfast or dinner. And later, I went out and played 1.5 hours of football with my BCM buddies. Yeah, my body REALLY hates me right now.
- My paper is now 12 pages long. And the scary thing is, I'm STILL not done with it.
- I actually caught some balls in our game. Two of them were touchdown catches. Not bad for a guy without any food in his stomach, eh? By the way, squinting into the sun to catch footballs hurts.
- Chick-Fil-A has a great way of making up for missing two meals.
- I went and saw Handel's Messiah (the entire thing) this evening at McCalister. It's spectacular. Words can't describe it well enough. To Lauren, Jessie, Will, Christi, Scott, Elloa, and Carly - awesome, awesome job!!!
Song of the Day: Vader and Rouse - "Rejoice!"
Verse of the Day: "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." - John 1:3-5
